The Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame will list events in this section that are charitable or educational in nature.  To submit a listing, please email us with contact and descriptive information, along with an appropriate link.


RIMHOF will promote any music-oriented program or project that is charitable or educational in nature and that is either run by a nonprofit or non-professional organization, or by a commercial organization where 100% of the money raised at the event is donated to the charitable cause. If a commercial entity is running a charitable event, 100% of ticket sales must go to the charity OR event admission must be free with donation of a donated item to be eligible for RIMHOF promotion.

Holiday Health Awareness Concert

December 17 at the Met

Tune In & Tune Up & The Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame have a great event planed for Sunday, December 17 at the Met. It will be 100% FUN and also supports the Tune In & Tune Up Health Awareness Program. Just $10. Details below…

  • 4-5 PM: Free guided tour of the RIMHOF Museum led by RI Music Hall of Fame co-Chair/historian Rick Bellaire.
  • 5:30 PM: The Rockin’ Docs hit the stage, a band that consists of all RI-based doctors. They made their first public appearance at the Feeling Alright Health Fair and Concert back in June and rocked the house!
  • – Next up is a young guitar player that is on the brink of stardom… Tyler Morris is taking the country by storm. At just 19 years old he has already released 3 full length CDs and was just signed to a recording contract!
  • – Rounding out this show will be Steve Malec and the Electric Flood, a great RI based band that will get you dancing and singing along as they cover a wide variety of classic rock songs as well as some of their own well crafted originals. This will be one of Steve’s last area performances for a while as he will be moving out of state in January…
  • – A jam session is planned to finish off the night!
