"Halloween
Recovery Concert” will feature music, Hall of
Fame memorabilia at Courthouse Center for the
Arts
The "Halloween Recovery Concert” will take place
Saturday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. at The
Courthouse Center for the Arts, 3481 Kingstown
Rd., West Kingstown, RI. The concert will
feature music from Longshot Voodoo, Crocodile
River Music, and The Buddy Cavaleri & Joanne
Rodgers Duo with a special guest appearance by
Beaver Brown sax player Michael “Tunes” Antunes.
The event is presented by the Rhode Island Music
Hall of Fame (RIMHOF) and the Tune In & Tune Up
R.I. Musicians Health Awareness Program and will
be emceed by Rudy Cheeks. Tickets are $12.00 in
advance / $15.00 day of show.

The "Halloween Recovery Concert” will also
feature a 6:30 p.m. presentation from R.I. music
historian and RIMHOF vice chair Rick Bellaire
who will speak and answer questions about the
rich history of music in Rhode Island. This
event will also feature the first public display
of some classic Rhode Island music memorabilia
courtesy of the R.I. Music Hall of Fame
archives.
With
influences of rock, folk, jam, blues, and world
music, Longshot Voodoo features vocalist
Adrienne West, percussionist Don "D.C" Culp,
bassist Matt West and guitarist Carl Overton.
Crocodile River Music is
an ensemble that promotes African and
African-influenced music including Brazilian,
Caribbean and Flamenco. Buddy Cavaleri and
Joanne Rodgers perform blues music throughout
Rhode Island.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and there will be
several gift baskets raffled with proceeds going
to the Tune In & Tune Up R.I. Musicians Health
Awareness Program. Patrons are asked to bring a
non perishable food item as this event is also a
food drive event.
